Your Plant Has Been on a Journey 🌱
Receiving a plant in the mail is a little different from picking one up at a local nursery.
Your plant may experience stress during shipping, and it may not look exactly like it did before it was packaged. This is normal.
You may notice:
- Drooping leaves
- Leaves positioned differently
- Minor cosmetic damage
- Yellowing or dropping of a leaf
- Soil movement
- Temporary changes in appearance
These things do not necessarily mean your plant is unhealthy.
When Your Plant Arrives
When your package arrives:
1. Open it as soon as reasonably possible.
2. Carefully remove the plant from its packaging.
3. Check the plant and packaging for any obvious damage.
4. Take photographs if there is a concern.
5. Give the plant time to adjust to its new environment.
6. Follow the care recommendations provided for your particular plant.
Don't Panic!
Your new plant may need a little time to recover from its trip.
Avoid immediately making major changes such as repotting, fertilizing, or aggressively watering unless the plant's specific care instructions indicate that it is necessary.
Give your plant a chance to acclimate to your home's temperature, humidity, and lighting.
Extreme Weather
Plants are living organisms and can be affected by extreme temperatures during transportation.
Whenever possible, avoid allowing packages containing live plants to sit outside for extended periods.
If your area is experiencing extreme weather, monitor your tracking information closely and retrieve your package promptly.
Something Doesn't Look Right?

If you believe your plant arrived severely damaged or deceased, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs and/or video.
